1. You Need a Hybrid Inverter, Not a Grid-Tie Only
A grid-tie-only inverter shuts down when the grid goes down — which in Iraq means it shuts down several times per day. A hybrid inverter can operate in three modes:
- On-grid: Feeds solar power to your loads and exports excess to the grid (when available).
- Off-grid: Powers your loads from solar and battery when the grid is down.

6. Three-Phase vs Single-Phase
